EHS Lead

 Core Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce our client’s Engineering Safety Management System
• Ensure compliance with statutory EHS legislation and project EHS plans
• Oversee risk assessments, method statements, permits to work, and COSHH controls
• Lead site audits, inspections, safety interventions, and corrective actions
• Manage EHS training, inductions, toolbox talks, PPE, and welfare facilities
• Liaise with project management and subcontractors on EHS matters
• Drive proactive EHS culture, sustainability, waste reduction, and recycling initiatives

 Essential Criteria

• HETAC Level 8 qualification in Environmental, Health & Safety
• 7+ years’ EHS management experience on large construction projects
• 5+ years managing EHS teams
• Strong knowledge of EHS legislation and regulatory requirements
• Excellent leadership, communication, and reporting skills
• Strong team‑working and stakeholder management skills

 Location – Belgium

Contract Duration – 18 Months
